　　2013年4月3日，有消息称，《设得兰谜案》已经预定了第二季，共六集，预计于2014年播出，2013年夏季开始拍摄。剧情改编自Ann Cleeves的另外三本小说《黑鸦（Raven Black）》, 《死水（Dead Water）》和《蓝电（Blue Lightning）》，分为三个篇章，每个篇章两集。
