　　顶着黑色羽冠、前端像沾到黑色墨水的橘色嘴喙、一身浅灰白色羽毛，这种在1861年被人类命名以来，就鲜少见到其踪影的燕鸥，究竟只是个神话，还是真实存在世界上？
　　
　　2000年，一次底片调光机的故障，让生态摄影师梁皆得，在马祖意外发现60几年前被认为绝种的黑嘴端凤头燕鸥。自此，对这传说中「神话之鸟」怀有梦想的人们，穿梭在亚洲各国沿海，以及无数个无人小岛之间，有时遭遇大雨风浪，有时冒着跌入大海的危险，只为了能发现它们的踪迹。
