　　One of the few Dukes to still sit in the House of Lords, The Eighth Duke of Montrose (pictured) is a hill farmer by trade. He continues the family tradition of being intimately involved in the political relationship between Scotland and England.
　　The Duchess of Rutland was determined to make Belvoir Castle an efficient business, living onsite in one wing, with her estranged husband the Duke living in another. Their elder teen daughters are prepared for when the title is passed down to their younger brother.
　　Whilst at Blenheim Palace, Lady Rosemary Spencer Churchill, daughter of the 10th Duke of Marlborough, revisits her childhood home. Her nephew succeeded to the title only recently and it’s a rather a different Blenheim to the one she remembers.

　　« Cette œuvre est composée de trois parties. La première est faite de films que j’ai tournés avec ma première Bolex à notre arrivée en Amérique, surtout pendant les années 1950 à 1953. Ce sont les images de ma vie, de celle d’Adolfas, de ce à quoi nous ressemblions à l’époque ; des plans d’immigrants à Brooklyn, pique-niquant, dansant, chantant ; les rues de Williamsburg. La seconde partie a été tournée en août 1971, en Lituanie. Presque tout a été filmé à Seminiskiai, mon village natal. On y voit la vieille maison, ma mère (née en 1887), tous mes frères célébrant notre retour, les endroits que nous connaissions, la vie aux champs et autres détails insignifiants. Ce n’est pas une image de la Lituanie actuelle, ce sont les souvenirs d’une "Personne déplacée" retrouvant sa maison pour la première fois après vingt-cinq ans. La troisième partie débute par une parenthèse sur Elmshorn, un faubourg de Hambourg, où nous avons passé un an dans un camp de travaux forcés pendant la guerre. Après avoir fermé la parenthèse, nous nous retrouvons à Vienne avec quelques-uns de mes meilleurs amis, Peter Kubelka, Hermann Nitsch, Annette Michelson, Ken Jacobs. Le film s’achève sur l’incendie du marché aux fruits de Vienne, en août 1971. Le son : je parle, pendant une grande partie du film, de moi-même en tant que "Personne déplacée", mes rapports avec la Maison, la Mémoire, la Culture, les Racines, l’Enfance. Il y aussi quelques chansons lituaniennes chantées par tous les frères Mekas. »

Il y a deux sortes de voyageurs, rappelle-t-il à propos de Reminiscences of a Journey to Lithuania, ceux qui partent de leur plein gré à la rencontre du monde pour chercher fortune ou simplement aller voir ailleurs si l’herbe est "plus verte" et qui, à la manière du Wilhelm Meister de Goethe font de leur voyage un roman d’apprentissage, et puis il y a les autres, les déracinés, ceux qui sont arrachés de force à leur pays comme de la mauvaise herbe et qui semblent condamnés au ressassement de la nostalgie, au travail infini du deuil. »

　　What could the fate of the Villa Empain, Baron Empain’s crazy project in Brussels, which has gone through a long and eventful journey since its completion in 1934, possibly inspire? Katharina Kastner’s challenge was to draw the portrait of the place, keeping in mind the work of time, like in a human existence. Shot in 16mm, her film appeals to the senses, it captures the stirring of leaves undulating in the garden light, the movement of iridescent pearls, or the colourful games of
a piece by Daniel Buren. Without a word, but with a caressing camera, she pays close attention to the hidden patterns on the gorgeous marbles, or to the veins in the most precious types of wood used to decorate the rooms. In slight touches, regardless of the monumental aspect of the 27.000 square-feet villa and the pool that so impressed its first visitors, Katharina Kastner o ers an organic vision of the place, which has been marked by the trials and tribulations of life, and used successively as a museum, an embassy and a squat, until its final renovation. The clever editing makes furtive connections, underlines colour associations, mixes up times and tactile sensations, while the spaces we explore keep rustling. The film takes us on a reminiscing journey, with slices of Empain’s life, from the family archive here on a holiday, there playing on the beach, images from a distant past that keep haunting the premises. The film reveals to us this living space that was designed like a piece of art, but it does so in a wandering way. This dream vision guides us through the villa like an echo of foregone fantasies, a mental space, but also a welcoming backdrop for the work of time. A bit like the fingerprint work we see in the film, or the slight touch of a pencil on a blank sheet.

　　《空中浩劫》是一个由加拿大Cineflix制作的空难纪录片节目，其英文原版分别在世界各地的国家地理频道及Discovery频道播出，加拿大魁北克省在Canal D以法文播出，中国中文版则由多个电视台获得其版权。
　　此节目主要介绍1970年代黑匣子发明之后所发生的近代重大航空事故。《空中浩劫》会以模拟演出的方式，分别以乘客、机师等不同人的视角，从一开始旅客登机、起飞，一直到事故发生、后续善后及调查为止，重现事件的整个过程。

　　七集纪录片《亚洲》（Asia）由大卫·爱登堡爵士担纲解说倾情呈现，带领观众深入这片全球面积最大的大陆，发掘令人惊叹的野生动物和自然奇观。亚洲拥有世界最高的山峰、最深的海洋、最高的丛林和规模最大的洞穴。作为BBC 首部聚焦亚洲大陆的野生动物纪录片，这部系列片历时近 4 年时间拍摄，探访了亚洲这一奇迹大陆的各个角落，将其摄人心魄的壮丽美景和丰富多彩的野生动物精彩呈现，并揭示一系列前所未见的动物行为。
