　　铁达尼号船难是世界最著名的船难事件，其残骸就躺在大西洋12,000尺深的冰冷海底。自从1985年发现铁达尼号残骸后，沉船地点虽有多次探勘，迄今仍无人能完整记录这块荒凉海床上的实际情况。如今在船难发生一世纪后，总算能揭开整片沉船地点的全貌，我们将以虚拟方式抽乾铁达尼号里的水，透过惊人的视觉特效技术呈现抽水过程，让观众宛如在现场观看残骸浮出海面的情景，继1912年4月15日沉没后首度完整重现全船样貌。虚拟空拍画面让我们能探索沉船地点，解开长久以来的谜团。

　　李安中学纪念册上画小金人
　　李安中学时就在自己的毕业纪念册中画上了一座奥斯卡奖杯，看来得奥斯卡小金人是他儿时的梦想。
　　据报道，李安的母校台南一中把历年来收集的李安作品海报及DVD《喜宴》、《推手》、《卧虎藏龙》等，都展示了出来，其中还有李安的手印及杰出校友纪念册。其中最特别的就是一本毕业纪念册，里面看到李安高中时青涩的脸孔，就在他的照片旁，还设计了一座奥斯卡奖杯，预告他未来的目标。
　　出道至今，李安无论拿过多少奖杯，他给人感觉始终是谦逊而彬彬有礼。幼时的李安身体不好、看起来十分瘦小，当年大学联考，李安三考而不中，最后念了戏剧，从伊利诺大学戏剧系、到纽约大学，李安的导演路看似平顺，实际上在他毕业后有6年的时间，李安没有工作。当初拍《推手》只有300万预算，他自己咬牙完成，《喜宴》虽然提高到500万人民币的预算，但还是不够，所以他的太太、儿子、好友全成了义务临时演员。就是这样吃得苦中哭，李安最终才成为人上人。

　　A Very Public Education will see the headteacher and a small group of Year 9 and 10 pupils from one state secondary school and one private, boarding secondary school swapping places to spend a week immersed in the school life of the other.
　　
　　By filming the experiences and reactions of the individuals involved and those around them in each school, the series aims to provide an insight into some of the key differences between the two sectors at a time when education is a political battlefield and the broad perception is of a gulf in standards between them.
　　
　　With more than a third of the current cabinet having emerged from fee-paying schools and regular reports about state school pupils falling behind their privately-educated counterparts in landing places at the best universities and the best jobs, the programmes will set out to explore the social, economic and educational challenges and differences that face both groups. But, over the two episodes, it will also seek to highlight shared experiences to see what they can potentially learn from each other.
　　
　　The two schools involved are The Bemrose School, in Derby and Warminster School, in Wiltshire.  Both schools are mixed gender and the pupils taking part in the swap are drawn from pupils aged 13-15 from Years 9 and 10.

Visiting spectacular locations in Iceland, the Middle East and India, Iain shows how control over water has been central to human existence. He takes a precarious flight in a motorised paraglider to experience the cycle of freshwater that we depend on, discovers how villagers in the foothills of the Himalayas have built a living bridge to cope with the monsoon, and visits Egypt to reveal the secret of the pharaohs' success. Throughout history, success has depended on our ability to adapt to and control constantly shifting sources of water.
　　Episode 2: Deep Earth
　　Iain Stewart tells the epic story of how the planet has shaped our history. With spectacular images, surprising stories and a compelling narrative, the series discovers the central role played in human history by four different planetary forces. In this first episode, Iain explores the relationship between the deep Earth and the development of human civilisation. He visits an extraordinary crystal cave in Mexico, drops down a hole in the Iranian desert and crawls through seven-thousand-year-old tunnels in Israel. His exploration reveals that throughout history, our ancestors were strangely drawn to fault lines, areas which connect the surface with the deep interior of the planet. These fault lines gave access to important resources, but also brought with them great danger.
　　Episode 3: Wind
　　Professor Iain Stewart continues his epic exploration of how the planet has shaped human history. Iain sets sail on one of the fastest racing boats ever built to explore the story of our turbulent relationship with the wind. Travelling to iconic locations including the Sahara desert, the coast of West Africa and the South Pacific, Iain discovers how people have exploited the power of the wind for thousands of years. The wind is a force which at first sight appears chaotic. But the patterns that lie within the atmosphere have shaped the destiny of continents, and lie at the heart of some of the greatest turning points in human history.
　　Episode 4: Fire
　　Professor Iain Stewart continues his epic exploration of how the planet has shaped human history. Iain explores man's relationship with fire. He begins by embarking on an extraordinary encounter with this terrifying force of nature - a walk right through the heart of a raging fire. Fire has long been our main source of energy and Iain shows how this meant that the planet played a crucial role in Britain's industrial revolution, whilst holding China's development back. Along the way he dives in a mysterious lake in Oregon, climbs a glacier of salt, crawls through an extraordinary cave in Iran and takes a therapeutic bath in crude oil.

　　Series in which Professor Iain Stewart looks at how four geological forces have shaped human history. He explores the most recently established force, humans. It's easy to think of the human impact on the planet as a negative one, but as Iain discovers, this isn't always the case. It is clear that humans have unprecedented control over many of the planet's geological cycles; the question is, how will the human race use this power?

　　Castaways hover on the 'Edge of Extinction' in an all-new twist, and four returning players attempt to bond with their new tribemates. Also, castaways tackle a giant puzzle in their first immunity challenge of the season.
