　　Every summer, teenage girls from across Missouri spend a week building a government from the ground up. Coming from different ends of the political and socioeconomic spectrum, they all share a passion for reimagining the future of America. The filmmakers behind Boys State (T/F 2020) return to the world of teen politics to capture the 2022 program – the first time in history that Girls State and Boys State take place simultaneously on the same campus. With rumors of Roe v. Wade being overturned in the real world, the stakes feel higher than ever for these ambitious and dedicated young women. As the days unfold and rumblings from the Boys program make their way across campus, discontent begins to emerge over the disparities between the two. 　　贫富不均对社会有什么影响？穷人真能掌握自己的未来？国际非营利组织STEPS INTERNATIONAL 所推动的《为什么贫穷？》（Why Poverty?）跨媒体计划，参与协同制作工作，与全球同步播出一系列探讨21世纪贫穷问题的纪录片。
　　《为什么贫穷？》是由总部位于丹麦的国际非营利组织STEPS INTERNATIONAL推动的非商业计划。Steps曾在2007年推动过《为什么要民主？》（Why Democracy?）。而《为什么贫穷？》即以此为基础，希望用影片刺激大众讨论贫穷问题；计划共同发起人还有英国广播公司（BBC）和丹麦广播公司（DR），这两家电视台也是本计划的主要合作伙伴和推动者。
　　这计划邀请了来自世界各地的纪录片导演，以“为什么贫穷”为共同题目，拍摄了每集一小时共八集的纪录片，让世界共同思考贫穷问题，探讨全球10亿赤贫人口的过去与未来。本系列纪录片于2012年11月起全球播放，台湾PTS与英国BBC、美国PBS、日本NHK、香港RTHK等在内的70余家电视台均加入联合播出，估计观众总数超过 5 亿人。

　　卡隆堡宫亦即哈姆雷特城堡，坐落在西兰岛北部赫尔辛各市的海边，与瑞典的赫尔辛堡市隔海相望，地处波罗的海出港口之一的欧尔松海峡最窄的出口处，在哥本哈根市东北约45公里。卡隆堡宫意为“皇冠之宫”，始建于1574年，1585年竣工。资金来自菲特烈二世国王（1559－1588）对经过欧尔松海峡船只所征得的通行税。此堡由荷兰建筑师设计建造。宫殿用岩石砌成，褐色的铜屋顶气势雄伟、巍峨壮观，是北欧最精美的文艺复兴时期建筑风格的宫殿。在宫外院的墙上有一块莎士比亚的纪念浮雕像，相传当年莎士比亚就是以卡隆堡宫为背景写下了那不朽的悲剧《哈姆雷特》的。故卡隆堡宫又称为哈姆雷特城堡。
　　卡隆堡宫历史上曾两度被毁：第一次是在1623年，整个宫殿及宫内陈设全被焚为灰烬，唯一幸存的是宫内的教堂。直到1637年才被修复，宫内的结构有所改变，使之具有巴罗克建筑风格，宫外的屋顶由原来的圆形螺旋塔改为现在有尖塔顶。第二次“北欧战争”期间，瑞典人于1658－1660年占领卡隆堡宫，将宫内物品洗劫一空。
　　现在宫内的陈设全是根据当时情况复制的。到菲特烈四世国王（1699－1730）时，加强了克隆堡宫周围的防御工事，宫殿也不断得到修复。从1785年到1922年，卡隆堡宫曾被用作兵营。宫堡外围的火炮已有二、三百年的历史。
　　本片是由德莱叶拍摄于1955年的8分钟纪录短片。主要介绍了卡隆堡内的另一个城堡“克罗根”堡（Krogen）的一些逸闻趣事，大师拍风景，不可错过。

　　In May and June 2018, Jean-Gabriel Périot collaborated with ten students in a film class at a high school in Ivry-sur-Seine on a project that unites cinema with politics. The students worked both in front of and behind the camera, restaging scenes of strikes, resistance, and labour disputes from films dating from the late 1960s to the late 1970s, including ones by Jean-Luc Godard and Alain Tanner. Nos défaites assembles the results, and adds interviews in which the director queries the students about the scenes they’ve just acted in, about such concepts as “class,” “labour union,” and “political engagement,” about wider social contexts. It’s a simple, yet trenchant setup, affording viewers a glimpse of how a younger generation sees politics and the political cinema of the past. The film also documents the director’s attempts to stir up the students. The conversations vary between encounters in which director and students seem on an equal footing, based on more teacher-like questioning by the never-visible director, and contemplations of revolution in the here and now: the performance of an uprising follows reflection upon the same. Could this lead to one happening for real?
