　　本剧改编自ABC News/ABC Radio的同名播客，讲述Elizabeth Holmes及她的公司Theranos如何崛起及坠落。
　　Amanda Seyfried饰演Elizabeth Holmes，她曾经一度被形容为「下一个乔布斯」，因为她提出一项最新技术能够只抽取少量血液就能立即进行检验，并因此得到多个名人的投资。然而实际上她和公司皆没有硬实力达成此事，于是在利欲熏心下Elizabeth开始不停造假，一度推出了根本没法提供正确数据的验血机；最终一切被拆穿后，Elizabeth现正面临刑事指控，而不认罪的她可能被判长达20年的刑期。

　　本片融警匪与法庭于一体的电视剧，片中讲述的犯罪基本原于真实生活，往往是近期报纸上的头条新闻。节目分为两部分，上半部分介绍警察研究现场，征询证人，提审嫌疑犯等一系列的侦破活动，后半部分详尽记录了案件侦破的后期工作，案件转交到检查官手里，检查官衡量案情，起诉，直到庭审，节奏紧凑，扣人心弦。由于最终坏人不一定被绳之于法，所以观众看的时候往往暗自捏一把汗。

　　这是Law & Order十四年如一日，也是我百听不厌的开场白，是以Law & Order franchise(包括spin-off的SVU)都兼有探员的办案过程跟检察官在法庭上的滔滔雄辩，这二者相互分庭抗礼成为Law & Order奠定其cop drama之教父地位的独特魅力，但是近来每回看Law & Order，都彷彿只是在等待后半小时的法庭戏上，也不是说前面的办案就不精采，但是总要在进入起诉过程中才显出本剧的成熟、世故，细腻精妙处的炉火纯青；一男一女老少两位检察官的不同考量而激盪出的互动、辩证，起诉的战略方针往往不只是黑白分明的司法正义考量，而牵扯到背后司法制度及其偏狭漏洞、细微的政治空气，Law & Order更不只是关在摄影棚里编造天马行空的离奇案件，它每回总是不犹疑地定睛盯上社会中的敏感命题。

　　游戏改编剧《光环 Halo》确定由Showtime预定10集首季，Otto Bathurst负责执导部份集，此剧于定于2021年播出。
　　本项目由13年开始启动，但期间动作不多，在14年XBox En ertainment Studios闭门后转交给Showtime开发，历时4年终于成功发展成正剧。《光晕》系列讲述了26世纪时，人类与外星种族之间的史诗级宇宙战争。
　　在《美国众神 American Gods》有演出的Pablo Schreiber饰演核心人物士官长/ Master Chief，他是人类阻止外星大军「星盟」毁灭文化的唯一希望。新晋演员Yerin Ha饰演16岁的Quan Ah，精明﹑胆大的她在殖民星的关键时刻遇上士官长。
　　Natascha McElhone会饰演两个角色，第一个是Catherine Halsey博士，她创造了超级士兵 - 斯巴达战士，同时她会饰演人造智能Cortana，它可能是人类能否生存下去的关键。Bokeem Woodbine饰演Soren-066，他是个道德观复杂的私掠船船长，即将与在军中时的军士长兼前好友 - 士官长有所冲突。Shabana Azmi饰演Margaret Parangosky上将，美国海军情报局的领导。
　　Bentley Kalu饰演斯巴达战士Vannak-134，有强化神经机器的他是个童年时期就被征召的超级士兵，士官长的副手﹑Natasha Culzac饰演斯巴达战士Riz-028，她是个专注﹑专业的士兵，犹如杀戮机器一般﹑Kate Kennedy饰演有胆识﹑好奇心重的斯巴达战士新人Kai-125。
