　　六集短片分别由几位不同国家不同背景的年轻电影人制作，向观众分享他们对影视剧集独有的观点和自己天马行空的想法。

　　剧集为观众打开一扇门，回到二十世纪五十年代的伦敦东区，而故事仍将围绕这群特殊的助产士和护理修女展开。护士珍妮·李和来自Nonnatus修道院的助产士和修女们拜访Poplar区的准妈妈们，并为最贫穷的妇女提供最好的照顾。在这一季中，我们将看到Chummy、Noakes和小Freddy回到了伦敦东区，修女Bernadette(离开修道院后被称为Shelagh)正在为她与特纳医生的婚礼做准备，而珍妮面临着个人生活和职业上的巨大挑战。圣诞节期间，在Nonnatus修道院附近的仓库下发现了一枚未爆炸的二战炸弹，修女们和几十个当地家庭发现自己无家可归。特纳医生正在与时间赛跑，为儿童接种小儿麻痹症疫苗，但当这种疾病逼近时，他发现除了抱有希望，竟别无他法。当一名皇室访客来到东区，Chummy说服他们开放新的社区中心。这是一场与时间的赛跑，而Chummy试图准备就绪，迎接大日子。
　　编剧海蒂·托马斯根据詹妮弗·沃斯的回忆录改编的剧集成为BBC最成功的电视剧之一，并在播出两季之后续拍。前两季中备受喜爱的角色将全部回归，第三季中还添加了一些新角色。

　　故事以动荡的中东局势为背景，重点描述一个美国家庭在中东工作的种种经历。巴里（亚当·雷纳 Adam Rayner 饰）是某中东国家统治者的儿子，在自我流放20年之后，他带着美国妻子和孩子回到了饱受战火折磨的祖国——来参加侄子的婚礼。他一回来就卷入了危险的政治游戏，迫使他再次面对那个他年少时就已经抛弃的家庭。

　　第五季的故事时间设定在1931年美国大萧条时期，同时闪回到1884至1897年间Nucky" Thompson的童年和少年时代。

　　Bulletproof follows two meijubar.net cops, Bishop and Pike, as they chase down hardened criminals in London's East End. On the surface Bishop and Pike have a lot in common they are cool, smart, unapologetically street-wise and tough; they share a deep, fraternal relationship - and are always there for each other. However, they come from very different backgrounds and their personal motivations and emotional lives outside the police force differ as a result: Pike is an aspirational family man, the son of a decorated police officer who's determined to follow in his father's footsteps, but not be in his shadow. Bishop grew up in care homes and on the streets, and never knew his father. Despite these differences Bishop and Pike are bonded by the same moral code and work brilliantly well together even when the chemistry between them looks set to explode.

　　USA有线台先前直接预定了10集新剧《目击者 Eyewitness》。该剧是根据挪威的犯罪惊悚小说Øyevitne改编。改剧由《警魂 Shades of Blue》的创作人Adi Hasak打造，同时他也会是该剧的编剧和制片人。Catherine Hardwicke负责执导。
　　《目击者Eyewitness》讲述的是两个无知的青少年兼情侣（其中一人由Tyler Young饰演）在丛林里目睹了一场枪击事件，且从枪击事件中死里逃生的故事。尽管他们一直死守着这个秘密以防犯罪分子找到他们，但却发现他们所看到的情景一直萦绕在他们的脑海里挥之不去。
　　Tyler Young饰演Philip O’Brien，是个感性的年轻男孩，见识过不少痛苦的事。他原本在平和的小镇里，准备与养母Helen重过新生活，而且他还爱上同校的男生Lukas，但目击到枪击事件改变了一切。
　　Julianne Nicholson则饰演养母Helen Torrance，曾经在大城市中当凶杀案警探。她抛开自己那令人难受的工作，并成为小镇警长及贤淑的妻子；然而枪击事件重新揭开她过去的心灵创伤，而且同时她还面对一件同样艰难的任务：照顾领养的Philip。
　　《得州崛起 Texas Rising》的James Paxton饰演Lukas Hallenbeck，他像个已获得一切的青少年，包校园括人气﹑炫酷的越野摩托车﹑全校最性感的女生等，但在这表面下，他一直被自己的性取向所困扰。当他遇上Philip后，他终于接受了自己的性取向，并跟他成为情侣，直至他们目击到枪击事件。
　　《升天 Ascension》主演Gil Bellows饰演正派﹑正直的兽医Gabe，他对Helen那种带自毁倾向，因为领养﹑凶杀案而面临破碎婚姻的生活感到同情；另外Tattiawna Jones以循环角色身份加盟，饰演Kamilah，一个不轻言认错的FBI探员，发现自己因为案件而夹在工作及身陷麻烦的妹妹之间。
　　Matt Murray加盟饰演循环角色，副警长Tony Michaels，他是警长Helen的左右手，能够良好管理他负责的警区。
　　挪威的原版小说《目击者Eyewitness》在剧情上惊悚恐怖，不仅揭露了犯罪细节，还揭晓了目击者自身的秘密。挪威的原版剧集去年在NRK Drama播出过，Anneke von der Lippe凭借剧中的女警探角色赢得了International Emmy最佳女演员奖。

　　西班牙电视剧《Velvet》的创作者来自《大饭店》（Grand Hotel），它是带有罗曼蒂克色彩的《塞尔福里奇先生》（Mr Selfridge），它在西班牙Antena 3台播出时，观众达480万，收视份额超过24%。

　　《法律与秩序：组织犯罪》是《法律与秩序：特殊受害者》的衍生剧，主演是曾在1999-2011年于剧集中演出的Christopher Meloni。Christopher Meloni会在此衍生剧中再次饰演Elliot Stabler，讲述他在纽约警局 领导一支反黑组。
