　　本片由四个故事组成，主要讲述了因果轮回，为自己过去的行为买单。《有故事的人》里的三角债，《审丑时代》里整容失败的嫦娥，《老二》里不信自己信大仙的段老二，《IP》里一心抄袭、抵制原创的牛主编，他们或因债务的上家和下家压得喘不过气，或因他人的审美标准不断地作贱自己的外表，也有因为封建迷信而放弃了自己本职的事情，更有为了金钱利益，不惜盗用他人创意和想法，这些都是因为他们当初种下了不良的“因”，才会得到如今令人或嬉笑或惋惜的“果”。

　　滾筒（譚耀文 飾）、建天（栢天男 飾）、刀疤（張建聲 飾）和浩正（張繼聰 飾）經歷上一次逃獄之後，性格和處事上也改變不少，眾人也安份守己，希望能盡快完成監禁，這令監獄內得到久違了的平靜。年青企業家賀俊（吳卓羲 飾）被控教唆他人犯罪，暫時要還押候審，雖然三個月後才開庭審訊，但一向高高在上的賀俊不慣低頭活於人下，於是貫徹在商界以錢能解決問題的理念，成功利誘獄中兩大勢力，滾筒和刀疤的手下投靠他，將監獄形成一個以賀俊獨大的新局面。 賀俊得知案件有新証人指控自己，面臨被判終身監禁，於是以巨額利誘曾經逃獄的滾筒、建天、刀疤和浩正協助逃獄，並承諾會安排各人一起潛逃到泰國。奈何眾人心態改變，不為錢所動，為家人、為義氣，堅拒為錢順從賀俊，使賀俊不惜以各人的弱點作威脅，用手段迫使眾人答應，各人在無奈之下就範⋯⋯
