　　在世界的尽头，一个小男孩的垂死母亲送他去寻找一个地方，满足愿望。《最后的男孩》是一部科幻剧，灵感来自13世纪苏菲派神秘主义诗人鲁米的诗歌。

　　22世纪末，被人类称作“加米拉斯”的不明外星生物盘踞火星，并持续向地球发射带有强烈放射性物质的游星炸弹，致使地球人死伤无数，濒临灭绝，被迫转到地下求生。在这紧要关头，人类组成宇宙舰队远征火星，结果几乎全军覆没，侥幸逃回的大和号成为人类最后的希望。与此同时，一个神秘装置穿越万里银河坠落地球，经检测发现该装置竟然能消除放射性物质。为了从装置的主人——麦哲伦星云伊斯坎达尔星的高智慧生物那里寻求帮助，人类决定孤注一掷，派遣大和号进行这次远征。火星之战中失去哥哥的原宇宙舰队成员古代进（木村拓哉 饰）应召归队，和一众好友成为了见证伟大历史时刻的一员。而得知人类动向的加米拉斯也发起了一波波的致命攻击……
　　本片根据松本零士的同名原著改编。

　　《通向行星路》的制作期长达三年，它是一部雄心勃勃的意识形态电影，包含着极具开创性的特效和精湛的手工模型作品。这部影片对库布里克《2001太空漫游》（2001：A Space Odyssey，1969）中对失重状态、灼热的星球和旋转式的太空站模型的在现实主义描写有着重要影响。
　　Klushantsev的《通向行星路》捕捉到了太空竞争的时代思潮。按照莫斯科电影官僚的指示，他在影片中增加了苏联第一个绕地卫星的模型。结果，这部五十分钟电影在苏联激起了观众的恐慌。据报道，电影片段在美国电视播放时，有些观众恐慌得晕厥过去。
　　这使得他随后的影片也是他唯一一部标准长片——1962年的《暴风雨之星》让人有点失望。这部影片是这一时期苏联科幻电影知名度较高的一部，故事由一队到金星探索的苏联航天员展开，队伍中有四个男人，一个女孩，还有一个笨重的机器人（这个机器人很明显是效仿了米高梅影片《禁忌星球》（Forbidden Planet，1956）中的机器人角色）。当两个宇宙飞船被流星摧毁时，这一队人被迫在星球表面下降着陆。他们一着陆就遇到恶毒的蜥蜴人，掠夺性的翼龙和食人的植物，而最后，他们得以逃离，回到太空中。

　　影片架构在一个充满阴影和灰暗色彩的超现实主义世界中，剧情的主角是两个没有提及名字的少年（根津甚八 配音）与少女（兵藤真子 配音）。少女随身带着一颗神秘的蛋，她花许多的时间在某个歌德式的死城里搜集各式瓶子与手工艺品。身上背着一把十字型武器的少年在某天也随着一种神秘的机械来到这个城镇。同时，巨大腔棘鱼的身影在城镇上方出现，城市里的人也成群的活过来开始用长枪猎捕这些鱼群。在少女如巨穴般的瓶子中，就像个庇护所一般，里面收藏着蒐藏品。少年等少女入睡后将那颗神秘的蛋打破。少女表现得很生气并紧跟着已经离开的少年。最后少女沉入了溪谷中死去，她口中吐出来的气泡最后都化作了一颗颗的蛋。
　　本片由日本导演押井守以及知名插画家天野喜孝合作，德间书店于1985年发行，并于2007年以DVD形式再版。影片旁白由野田圭一担任。

　　《世界旦夕之间》是1973年法斯宾德为电视台制作的两部式科幻电影，改编自伽洛耶出版于1964年的长篇小说《三重模拟》（Simulacron-3），本片后来被好莱坞翻拍成《异次元骇客》（The Thirteenth Floor），并深刻启发了后来的同题材系列电影《黑客帝国》。

　　In the nuclear ravaged wasteland of Earth 2087 water is as precious as life itself. The isolated Lost Wells outpost survived the holocaust and the inhabitants guard the source of their existence. Now an evil cult of renegades want control of their valuable water supply. And the villagers are no match for such brute military force. Only one man can help the stricken community - a mercenary living in a distant cannibal city. But even he, and his strange henchmen, may not be able to survive in the world gone wild.

　　In a small rural community local police officers Zoe and Patrick begin their shift as normal but it soon becomes clear that something is wrong. Strange events unfold before their eyes, residents begin behaving strangely and mass suicide panic spreads amongst the community they are trying to protect. Zoe and Patrick realise they are under siege from alien machines as they become cut off from the outside world. They are forced to do battle against these uninvited visitors. With the help of some of the residents Zoe and Patrick begin unravelling the mystery and soon discover it is not all as it seems. Can Zoe and Patrick save their community and the outside world from extinction?

　　Wunder der Schöpfung is an extraordinary, fascinating Kulturfilm trying to explain the whole human knowledge of the 1920s about the world and the universe. 15 special effects experts and 9 cameramen were involved in the production of this film which combines documentary scenes, historical documents, fiction elements, animation scenes and educational impact. It its beautifully colored, using tinting and toning in a very elaborated way. Some visual ideas in the sequences with a space shuttle visiting different planets in the universe seem to have to be the inspiration for Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.
　　In the context of Germany's Kulturfilm phenomenon, Wunder der Schöpfung was among the greatest achievements of the 1920s. The production was constructed, rehearsed, and shot over a period of two and a half years, under the supervision of Hanns Walter Kornblum. The idea to describe the universe and man's place in it well suited UFA's Grossfilm mentality, one year before the Metropolis catastrophe. Hundreds of skilled craftsmen participated in the project, building props and constructing scale models drawn by 15 special effects draughtsmen, while 9 cameramen in separate units worked on the historical, documentary, fiction, animation, and science-fiction sequences. Without star roles or even protagonists, the film's plot is crowded with meticulously structured and skillfully acted single scenes an artful mosaic of small vignettes. No less than four credited university professors ensured the factual background behind the scientific and historical events portrayed.
　　The film's symbol of progress and the new scientific era is a spacecraft, travelling through the Milky Way, making all the planets and their inspiring worlds familiar to us, with the extravaganza of their distinctive features. The film's educational intentions, however, become steadily more obscure, humorous, or even campy as this popularization project proceeds. With the excuse of presenting the end of the world a not-so-new concept as a new, undeniably scientific truth, the film veers happily along a new path, displaying detailed apocalyptic scenes of the end of mankind. For today's audiences, this amazing film demonstrates how the universe was comprehended in the 1920s, and how that view was sold to contemporary audiences.
