　　Charlie introduces us to the world of Hotel Babylon - a world of fantasy and indulgence, where you can be whatever you want to be, provided you have the cash to pay for it. Charlie is interviewed by Rebecca for the job of Deputy Manager, but arch rival Anna emerges as a clever and formidable opponent. To prove his worth, Charlie must manipulate a world-famous rock band into spending as much money as possible - which is proving unusually tricky. A suspicious limo driver, Pete, adds to his worries, claiming to know Charlie - does he have something to conceal? Meanwhile, Rebecca is mysteriously hiding out at the hotel and someone clearly has it in for her.

　　收视并不太好，但仍被续订16集第二季的NBC剧《#飓风营救# Taken》，剧组表示下一季只有饰演主角Bryan Mills的Clive Standen，以及饰演Christina Hart的Jennifer Beals会回归，其他主演皆被遣散；据指这是因为新制作人Greg Plageman想采取新的创作方向，在次季使用更倾向单元剧的路线。

　　40个实习医生为了一个家知名医院（其实就是House那个医院）的3个转正名额进行无数轮的PK选秀，会是什么样的场景？如果你是House医生，肯定也会让这帮愣头青上演一出血战到底的真人秀吧？而且在被House老是修理一番后，他们会压根就不知道 “自尊”这个词是啥意思～
　　艾美奖得主《豪斯医生》第四季将在9月25日再度与美剧迷们见面，在本季中，由于有一票新人要竞争与House共事的机会，所以弄出了一个类似选秀的程序来考核竞聘者们，甚至给他们编了号～（传说中的超级医生？）。“本季中您将会看到典型的House风格的种种挖苦和刁难，除非具备《Survivor》中的角色那样超人的心理和身体素质以及职业技能，恐怕很难有人能入House的法眼。”本季的执行制作人David Shore如是说。
　　本季花了超过8集以上的时间来让有点神神叨叨的House来选秀（不知道有没有点评环节），也就是说，他将会塑造一个又臭又硬的形象～。演员Peter Jacobson 说(出演过The Starter Wife)，Peter Jacobson在本剧中扮演一个在Park Avenue上班的整形外科医生，试图寻找新的生命的意义。“不过，在寻找生命意义的道路上，他也顺道寻找一下辣妹。Hoho～” Jacobson补充道。
　　当然，作为选秀的结果，本剧中理所应当的出现了新角色。Olivia Wilde (出演过The Black Donnellys)，在本剧中出演一个让House搞不定的家伙。他说“每周都会有新人被淘汰出局，大家都希望看到Ryan Seacrest在那煽情的喊' 如果您支持13号选手，请编辑短信13，移动用户发送倒～～联通～～小灵通～～'（也不知道米国是什么号码啦！）"
　　制作人Shore还透露，其他的竞聘者还有Kal Penn（出演过24）扮演的一个觉得“选秀“特酷的傻妞。还有，Edi Gathegi(出演过Lincoln Heights)，将在本剧中扮演一个黑人摩门教徒。
　　搞笑的是，在现实中的演员们为了出演本剧，成为House团队（此处双关）的一员，也是竞争激烈。Shore 说：“我们挑选了许多演员来试镜，但是我们不能决定谁是最佳人选，最后我们决定采用选秀的方式，我们觉得House肯定会同意的。”

　　这部美国哥伦比亚广播公司的王牌节目，曾获得第59届美国金球奖“最佳系列剧”，主演过《异形》的海尔金伯格凭该剧获得了最佳女主角奖。另外，该节目还获艾美奖六项提名，入选2002年美国“十大最佳电视影集”、美国CBS电视台当年收视冠军，可谓集三千宠爱于一身。
　　该节目比传统刑事案件报道更有情节性和悬念性。《CSI》的专职顾问伊丽莎白·德瓦恩是一位曾在洛杉矶安全部门供职长达15年的犯罪现场调查人。该节目收视率之所以居高不下，41岁的德瓦恩功不可没。另外，《CSI》已成为美国警方的必备学习教材，连英国苏格兰场、日本警卫厅以及法国警局都视之为反恐教材。

　　Gillian is asked on a date by personable customer Gary but he has an alternative motive. He believes that Alan is his father, as a result of a brief fling with Gary's m other Mary, whilst he was still married. Advised by Caroline Gillian tells Alan, who admits it and prepares to see Gary though he is also concerned for his friend Harry, who has to sell his house to settle a court claim. Caroline meanwhile is planning to marry the pregnant Kate, leading to embarrassment for son Lawrence from homophobic fellow pupils. She tells Kate that she feels obliged to tell Celia Alan's secret whilst Alan himself meets Gary in town.
