Chosen Family sees Ann, a yoga teacher trying to find inner peace despite the fact her family is manic, and whose dating life is miserable. Ann doesn’t know how to say no and finds herself fixing everyone’s problems. Struggling to repair her estranged relationship with her sister Clio, Ann relies on her friends Roz, Max and Frances to be her rock and guide her through life’s troubling decisions.

　　《有钱特烦恼》的男主人公是一个负债累累的人，却还要回村里炫富，并忽悠其叔叔婶婶到城市里拍电影挣钱。为了取得叔叔的信任，他与债主合伙成立假的剧组，没想到被一个骗子团伙盯上，这个骗子团伙假装应聘来到剧组骗男主人公。就这样，一个假剧组、一个骗子团伙、一对梦想赚大钱的夫妇一起上演了一场令人哭笑不得的闹剧。

　　纸扎店小工朱宏利（洪金宝 饰）自小由道士二叔公（林正英 饰）带大，朱宏利道术未习多少，行事偶而颠倒，却有一副正气心肠，因不肯拖累指腹为婚的未婚妻阿云（钟楚红 饰），时常给人家冷脸。朱宏利好友马麟祥（午马 饰）外出闯荡，返乡时却变成了一具尸体，一同回来的还有马麟祥怀孕的妻子跟几个男伴，朱宏利感事有蹊跷，出力调查却一无所获。几日后，马麟祥冤魂找到朱宏利求助，原来马麟祥返乡时并未身亡，只为伙同他人盗取自家祖上的陪葬品而出此下策，却不料假戏成真，被同伙取了性命。心灰意懒的朱宏利拗不过冤魂骚扰，请来二叔公做法帮好友报仇，结果自己丢掉了肉身以至丧命。悲痛欲绝的阿云经二叔公指点，欲与鬼差斗计抢回朱宏利的魂魄……

　　A contemporary comedy about two people who meet just as their previous relationships have imploded in ugly fashion. 　　The film centers on the Herdman kids, who are the absolute worst. They lie, they steal, they bully… and they’ve hijacked the town Christmas pageant. As the rowdy and raucous siblings force themselves into all of the lead roles, they drive the pageant’s director, Grace (Judy Greer), and other members of her family, including husband Bob (Holmes), up the wall. But through their misfit mischief, these unlikely messengers might turn out to be the ones to deliver the town’s sensational and moving portrayal of the true meaning of Christmas.

　　大唛（刘青云 饰）与克仔（周文健 饰）及Bowie（林保怡 饰）三个死党，均染上赌马嗜好，利用赌马去制造梦想与成就。而大唛幸有何May（吴倩莲 饰）的鼓励与提点，尚不至恋马烂赌之徒。一次，Bowie找到一部电话偷听器，怂勇大唛与克仔在马场宿舍偷听练马师贴士，结果赢得万多元，而大唛便把所赢款项尽交阿May保管。为赢钱他们重施故技，大唛更想藉此赢得老婆本，好向阿May求婚，谁料练马师坠马而弄致全军尽墨，结果大唛不单拖欠贵利，更受到外父臭骂，又令母亲失望。面对这样的困境，大唛会再重投马场一赌？还是改过自新，自食其力？这也正是普遍香港“赌仔”要面对的问题。

　　For her visually inventive feature debut, director Raine Allen-Miller launches us into a playful and vibrant world, shaping a romantic comedy that celebrates meeting the right person at the wrong time. Nathan Byron and Tom Melia’s fresh characters leap off the page at breakneck speed in the hands of Oparah and Jonsson, channeling all the frustrations of swiping fatigue while holding onto the hope of finding the real deal. Much like its namesake in the beating heart of South London, Rye Lane is irresistible.
