大学の非常勤講師として働く昼間吉人（３1）（岡山天音）は、妊娠中の姉から甥っ子・幸太（10）を押し付けられ、預かることに。しかし間もなく、幸太が失踪。吉人はどうにか幸太を探し出すと、現実に絶望し、意味ありげに「ここじゃないどっかに行きたい」という幸太に共感。二人の関係は深まり、共に吉人の専門である悲観主義（ぺシミズム）を突き詰めていく。“人生を悲観しつつも、どこか楽しい”不思議な共同生活を送る二人。やがて、それぞれにとって最悪の悲劇が起こる。

　　This story is about a musician, Natalie, who moves to a big city and tries her luck at becoming famous. And here she finds not only a great opportunity for her career, but also a new love with another girl, Anna. They two are very different: one poor, the other one is rich, one of them writes music and sings, the other one cannot hear or speak…
　　They are united by love for each other, but their own fears stand in the way of their happiness. They both go through doubts and pain. When they finally find courage in their hearts, it seems like it's too late… But does true love have time limits?

　　1979年夏，上海。一天深夜，邮电所内公款被盗，公安人员赶到现场发现，公共汽车售票员林蔷（肖雄 饰）倒在血泊之中，随既送医院抢救。醒来的林蔷面对公安人员的讯问一言不发，似有难言之隐，这给侦破工作带来很大困难。上官剑（黄中秋 饰）在走访中发现，肖湘（史钟麒 饰）、范竹（韩炳杰 饰）二人和林蔷关系不一般，但很快排除了情杀可能。通过细致的排查摸底，上官剑了解到林蔷和肖湘在教育弟弟林尧（宝珣 饰）问题上时有争论，他决定攻心为上，打开林蔷的心结。最终，林蔷向上官剑诉说了一切。原来，正是她一昧的纵容和娇掼，使自己的亲弟弟走上犯罪道路......

　　女记者（叶德娴 饰）受托跟踪采访一个忠实于精神病患者救助事业的社会工作者（冯淬帆 饰），二十多年来他一直与街头流浪汉打交道，旨在引导他们走向康复，但他的行为得不到人们的响应。女记者亲眼目睹了他对垃圾佬（周润发 饰）、终日游荡在菜市场的癫仔（梁朝伟 饰）与康复的患者（秦沛 饰）的关怀 与他们辛酸的故事。康复患者其实有间歇性发作精神病，受到生活中重重压迫后，想念儿子的他持刀闯入幼儿园酿成血案......

　　Isolated on a farm and fighting against his family's decision, Aaron struggles to be heard as he watches his mother willingly die.

　　秋日温暖的傍晚，父亲带着女儿一起骑单车，他们穿过林间小路，骑过草地，骑上高坡，来到平静的湖边。
　　父亲抱抱女儿，登上了小船。女儿在湖边静静的等待，等到船在视线里变模糊，等到太阳就要落山。父亲迟迟不归，女儿一个人骑着小小的脚踏车回去了。从那以后女儿每天都来湖边等候，她一个人骑着单车来来返返，风雨无阻。多年过去，小女孩为人妇，为人母，转眼老去。
　　已然老去的她日日来到湖边，直到湖水干涸，化为滩涂。她来到沉睡在湖底的小船边，躺在小船里，就像躺在父亲暖暖的臂弯。

　　River of Grass has all the elements of a conventional road movie: a car, a gun, criminal plans, and young lovers on the run from an angry father who also happens to be a suspended police officer. But writer and director Kelly Reichardt has instead taken these familiar elements and fashioned an anti-road movie, a deadpan film that is more existentialist comedy than crime drama. The young lovers in question are Cozy, the cop's daughter, and Lee Ray, a shady character from the wrong end of town. Lee Ray comes into possession of a pistol, and soon he and Cozy find themselves unintentionally involved in a shooting. Fearing capture by the law, the two make plans to leave town, committing a series of robberies on the way. However, they don't manage to get very far; indeed, the film's central premise is how the romantic myth of lovers on the lam proves disappointing in the face of a far more pedestrian reality. This well-received, low-budget indie was shot on location in South Florida, placing its story against an appropriately depressed landscape of sun-bleached strip malls, barren highways and overgrown, swampy fields; the title is another name for the Florida Everglades.

　　阿直（吴镇宇 饰）和阿车（倪星 饰）是一对好朋友。阿直的职业是殡仪馆的化妆师，因职业的关系从未结交过一个女朋友；阿车在叔叔陈师傅（林正英 饰）的跌打馆里帮忙，本身有点儿小道行，却是个不务正业、玩乐调皮的家伙。阿车欠下黑社会老大贵利雄（黃光亮 饰）一笔钱，为筹措资金绞尽脑汁。偶然机会两人与殡仪馆老板（吴耀汉 饰）打赌，在农历十五月圆之夜引出传说中的芭蕉精。为措资金，二人铤而走险。结果引出的芭蕉精化身为阿直所迷恋的模特Iris（傅丽人 饰），但他必须在初一将其送回，否则一尸两命，芭蕉精化做青烟，Iris也会魂归黄泉……
