根据轰动冷战时代的前苏联克格勃探员间谍案真实事件改编，讲述前苏联克格勃叛逃者弗拉基米尔与法国情报人员合作，成为前苏联解体的诱因，故事本身和影片题材还是很有争议性的，影片由著名导演埃米尔·库斯图里卡和法国英俊才子吉约姆·卡内共同主演。导演克里斯蒂安·卡里昂此前曾导演过《梦想起飞的季节》和《圣诞快乐》等。 1985年8月1日，前苏联情报机构克格勃罗马第一总局五处维塔利·尤尔钦科上校借口参观梵蒂冈博物馆，走进了驻罗马的美国大使馆，这位冷战期间叛逃的克格勃最高官员，抖出了数名在美国国家安全局工作的苏联间谍，导致克格勃在西方的间谍机构受到致命破坏。

While driving through the desert with his wife Carol Marvin to a military base to send the eleventh rocket to the orbit of Earth for helping the exploration of the outer space in the Operation Sky Hook, Dr. Russell A. Marvin and Carol see a flying saucer and accidentally records a message in their tape recorder. Once in the base, Dr. Russell is informed by his father-in-law and general that the ten first satellites had mysteriously felt on Earth. When Dr. Russell decodes the message, he encounters the aliens that ask him to schedule a meeting with the leaders of Earth in Washington in 56 days with the intention to invade Earth without panicking the population. Dr. Russell develops an anti-magnetic weapon that becomes that last hope of human race against the hostile aliens.
Following the success of their feature debut Jennifer’s Shadow (2004) – an exercise in American Gothic set in a scary land called Argentina – Pablo Parés and Daniel de la Vega worked for a US company on a post-mega-disaster wasteland zombie film in which South America had been turned into an all-purpose, all-materials junkyard, with the undead as the last humane entities around (forget about the humans here!). The project never materialised, but Diego Parés, Pablo’s brother, started to write and draw a comic series based on the screenplay – which so far remains a ruin, as only parts were finished and published. The ECish beauty and balls of Diego P.’s labour of love have now been congenially transformed by the directorial duo into a delightfully old-(1970s)school low-budget production, closer to Romero and Dante than Fulci and Lenzi. And the IFFR audience is in for the treat of treats: they get to see the film and can also enjoy the unfinished comic in an exhibition.

At the U.S. Secret Operations Center a small group of doctors led by Kim Delaney are experimenting with a metallic skin on a frozen cadaver. This particular body is that of a secret agent that succumbed twenty years earlier to self injection of a blood sample from a...werewolf. Barry Bostwick plays the evil Colonel harboring the blueprints for this gruesome experiment. Thus the Government has given life to a wolf-like creature with metal skin. The only reason I watched this is Kim Delaney. I'd watch her do a puppet show! Also in the cast are: Brian Brophy, Carole Davis, Tim Duquette and Kane Hodder as the MetalBeast. Pretty bad movie except for the last twenty minutes or so.

第四部的时间，是发生在第二部之后，但是重新开始了一段故事。讲述一个科研小子在波蒂戈湾饭店搞实验，发现了魔偶和相应的配方。与此同时，古埃及邪神为了夺回秘方，开始派出爪牙大开杀戒。这一次，坏玩偶们，齐心协力开始和邪魔玩偶开始大战……值得一提的是，这一部终于没有床戏了…… 从此，魔偶大师开始有了接班人，新一代魔偶王诞生。
