　　蓝虹（王馨平 饰）是一名检察官，同时也是一名犯罪心理学家，这一次，她将要面对的是一位名叫卜国威（吕良伟 饰）的邪恶罪犯，这个男人拥有超高的智商和超强的心理素质，许多负责审问他的警员都在与他的周旋之中败下阵来，最后只得请蓝虹出马。
　　刚一接触，蓝虹便知道卜国威不是省油的灯。虽然他对蓝虹承认了自己所犯下的所有罪行，但却始终不愿意将藏匿尸体的地点公开。警方找不到尸体，就没办法给卜国威定罪。随着时间的推移，蓝虹渐渐发现了卜国威隐藏的恐怖真相，那就是他竟然是一名多重人格患者。在不断的和卜国威的不同人格过招的过程中，蓝虹竟也渐渐的失去了理智。

　　因调查的案件涉及政治人物，刑警星野一正（津田寛治 饰）被“发配”至调查一课。该部门主要负责即将超过诉讼期的悬案，属于献少人问津的清冷部门。星夜不改追查真相的本性，开始查阅历年文献。一宗14年前的案件偶然映入他的眼帘：某捷克贵族后裔美夜子•罗君贝尔克（杉本彩 饰）的女佣被残忍杀害，嫌犯至今下落不明。一方面为美夜子的美貌所吸引，一方面决定让死者的冤屈昭雪，星夜开始着手此案的调查。他走访美夜子的别墅，得知真正的罪犯是一个名叫黑沼右京（要潤 饰）的年轻实业家。他偷偷潜入黑沼的府邸，却见到难以置信的一幕。由此，星夜开始逐步了解事件的真相，也慢慢了解到美夜子和黑沼真实的身份……

　　本片根据法国文豪莫泊桑的名著《奥尔拉》（法语：Le Horla）改编；主人公以第一人称的形式进行叙述。以日记形式描写了主人公的焦虑和恐慌：他感觉到有一个看不见的生物体存在于他的周围，并命名其为« 奥尔拉 »。 他开始还是清醒的，然后在试图摆脱奥尔拉无形的控制过程中，逐渐变得疯癫。

　　A listless grand-daughter, Chance Sinclair (Avery Konrad), is sentenced to live with her draconian grand-father, August (Timothy V. Murphy) after a violent incident at school and begins to question the source of her families immense wealth and power. When Chance's scheming Mom, June (Annette Reilly), hires a troubled chef, Sydney (Johnathan Lipnicki), to poison August, the family's monstrous secrets are revealed over the course of one bloody night. Every soul is up for grabs as The Sinclair Family Games Night gets underway and Chance learns that being apart of this family is a blood-in, blood-out proposition.

A boyfriend, who can barely speak English, embarks on an overseas trip with his girlfriend, who takes charge of planning everything and even handles communication on his behalf. However, their journey turns into a nightmare when they barely make it to their accommodation, and strange knocking sounds start emanating from the room. To make matters worse, the girlfriend disappears while taking a shower, and the police immediately suspect the boyfriend. With meticulously crafted initial ominous situations, such as the flight delays, the rental car agency closing its doors, and a major traffic accident experienced shortly after getting into the car, audiences are easily drawn into the protagonist’s intense quest to find his missing girlfriend. Despite the language barrier, he manages to evade the relentless investigation of the local police and skillfully uncovers clues. Unexpected obstacles keep appearing one after another, propelling the story forward without a moment to catch your breath. At the climax of the confusion, when the full truth of the incident is revealed, and viewers are met with a shocking revelation that leaves them gasping in astonishment. (PARK Got)

　　Stuart Gordon, considered a master of the horror genre thanks to classics like Re-Animator and Dagon, decides to do a different move in this strange trip to human morals.
　　
　　"King of the Ants" is about a regular guy, Sean Crawley(newcomer Chris McKenna), a man without any aspiration who just live in his apartment doing the necessary job to live to the next day. In one of his jobs he meets Duke(Gearge Wendt), who introduces Sean to his boss, Ray Matthews(played by Daniel Baldwin). Ray hires Sean as a spy, and orders him to follow Eric Gatlin(Roy Livingstone), an accountant who has been investigating Ray's company. Problems start when Ray, while drunk, orders Sean to kill Eric. And he does it. Things go wrong when Ray decides to make Sean disappear destroying his mind with violent punishment and humiliation.
　　
　　From the point where Sean kills Eric, we go in the same boat with him, as he goes through a downward spiral of human degradation, traveling from guilt, to confusion and finally to his rebirth, in a state where humanity, morals and values are not important anymore. Chris McKenna acting is very important because he manages to be likable even when he is part of gruesome acts, both as victim and/or criminal. He has that look of innocence that hides a dark side and he manages to carry the film.
　　
　　The support cast also includes Kari Wuhrer, as Eric's widow who also becomes a central part of Sean's trip to hell. She gives a fine performance, although it's obvious that Sean is the main character. He is the most developed of all and McKenna's performance is up to the challenge.
　　
　　The film has very disturbing images of violence, and while it may not be as graphic as "Kill Bill" for example, the strength of the violence is in the lack of humanity that the character manifest. He is more than an ant in this world. He is the king.
　　
　　Stuart Gordon has managed to create a film that, while maybe it's not one of his best efforts; it's very well done, has a VERY interesting story to tell, and manages to capture the attention every second of it.

　　Erstwhile Special Forces operative Doc Alexander is asked to broker a truce with the Mexican drug cartel in secrecy. When Oklahoma Governor Richard Jeffs celebrates the execution of a high-ranking cartel member on TV, his Chief of Staff and Doc inform him about the peace he just ended. But it’s too late, as Cuco, the cartel’s hatchet man, has set his vengeful sights on Doc’s daughter Dixie.
　　They don’t make ’em like Little Dixie anymore: honed to the bone, all gestures and actions, only a few words. Too many genre films these days try to create meaning by piling ideas and intentions on their narrative frames. John Swab, as always, works the other way around. Meaning and depth come from taking away whatever is superfluous – by reducing the plot to its bare essence and the characters to their core trades and tricks.
　　Ultimately, Little Dixie feels like the pulp fiction version of a Giacometti sculpture, all fearful symmetries and mirror images. A gem of crime cinema at its purest and most philosophical, proudly featuring noir’s new darling, Frank Grillo.

　　某网站实习记者天天和油嘴滑舌一肚子鬼点子的摄影师张可正对某剧组进行跟踪采访，因为剧组没什么大明星，天天又坚持真实报道的原则，所以惹得主编大怒，扬言要撤回天天的外出采访资格。与此同时，该剧组接二连三出现诡异状况。正在拍摄的影片虽然是一部喜剧，不过剧组选择一处废弃的楼盘拍摄。由于他们事先没有举行开机仪式，所以出现了道具丢失的情况，剧组上下议论纷纷，人心惶惶。听到消息的天天和张可返回剧组做近距离的跟踪采访，而在这座阴森恐怖的外景地，难以解释的事件接二连三发生。
　　未过多久，剧照人员传出死亡的消息，以此为契机，恐怖事件由此升级到失控的地步……
