黑上帝白魔鬼

　　自从母亲仰望星空发疯自杀的那次意外之后，安吉菈的行为与精神状态就时常出现问题，像颗不定时炸弹随时可能爆炸。父亲为了女儿们的安全著想，让姊姊贝卡及年幼的妹妹克洛伊，也都陪她一起休学在家休养。只是近日安吉菈发现，姊姊贝卡开始出现种种不寻常的行为，如同母亲自杀前正呢喃著星星这般怪异。安吉菈有办法挽救家人免于悲剧再次发生吗？还是这一切只是她又开始妄想了？

　　Following the success of their feature debut Jennifer’s Shadow (2004) – an exercise in American Gothic set in a scary land called Argentina – Pablo Parés and Daniel de la Vega worked for a US company on a post-mega-disaster wasteland zombie film in which South America had been turned into an all-purpose, all-materials junkyard, with the undead as the last humane entities around (forget about the humans here!).
　　The project never materialised, but Diego Parés, Pablo’s brother, started to write and draw a comic series based on the screenplay – which so far remains a ruin, as only parts were finished and published. The ECish beauty and balls of Diego P.’s labour of love have now been congenially transformed by the directorial duo into a delightfully old-(1970s)school low-budget production, closer to Romero and Dante than Fulci and Lenzi. And the IFFR audience is in for the treat of treats: they get to see the film and can also enjoy the unfinished comic in an exhibition.

　　作为一名来日本念书的美国学生，嘉云（莎拉·米歇尔·盖拉 Sarah Michelle Gellar 饰）一直过着半工半读的生活。这一次，她接受了一份看护患了僵直症的老人艾玛（Grace Zabriskie 饰）的工作。艾玛独自居住在一间大宅里，这里的破败和荒芜充分显示了它和老人被时间遗忘的痕迹，而对于艾玛诡异的行为举止，嘉云也仅仅觉得是她的神经出了问题罢了。
　　随着时间的推移，嘉云感到似乎有某些极为可怕的东西藏在这所房子的阴影中。无人的楼梯上传来声响，长相怪异的男孩忽闪忽现，所有的迹象都指向一点——在这所古老的房子里，她是那个不受欢迎的人。身边的人连遭厄运，这里究竟发生过怎样的故事才导致了如今的咒怨作祟？嘉云决心调查到底。

　　位于东京的某区，山野一家三口过着富庶自在的生活。2010年9月3日，姐姐春花（青山伦子 饰）从美国归来，此前她在旅行中遭遇一场车祸，致令双腿严重骨折。弟弟幸一（中村苍 饰）是个开朗阳光的大男孩，他拿着新买的摄像机拍下了山野家生活的点点滴滴。由于父亲公务繁忙，平时只有姐弟二人在家。平静的日子并未持续太久，一丝不安便在屋子内肆意弥漫。春花发现，每当次日醒来床边的轮椅便会发生移动。为了探明真相，幸一决定在姐姐的卧房内安置摄像机，监控夜晚的情况。在屏幕前，不可思议的景象接连发生，姐弟俩似乎也陷入恶魔的诅咒中，无法逃脱……

　　一個來自泰國北部大學的恐怖故事──無頭者的遊行、和關於一段註定破滅的愛情的傳說──復仇的時刻來臨了。
　　大學生小葛非常焦慮，因為她和自己暗戀的好友阿德必須競爭同一筆獎學金。阿德為了安撫她的情緒，請求小葛陪他一起到公主娘娘的神龕祈福，這位娘娘以賜福給情侶而著稱，但有一個條件：如果有人假裝成情侶向她祈福，她將會賜予死亡懲罰。不迷信的阿德堅持計畫，希望能讓小葛安心下來。他沒料到娘娘將策劃一場復仇遊行，意圖奪走兩人的性命。

　　卢（Leo Fafard 饰）是一位非常平凡的小镇警察，从事着这一职业，就注定了卢在工作中会遇到非常多的危险和不悦。有一天，卢在睡觉的时候梦见了自己被一种神秘而又恐怖的生物袭击了，哪知道梦醒之后，卢的身上竟然真的发生了一些细微的变化。这一切，究竟是梦境还是现实呢？
　　卢的无感变得比以前更加敏锐，而且身体上的毛发生长得逐渐茂盛起来。一天，卢在盛怒之中晕了过去，醒来时候，他才知道，在失去知觉的那段时间，他竟然变成了强壮而又残暴的狼人。对于一个正常人类来说，变成狼人并不是一件好事。可是对于整天要和危险的犯罪分子们打交道的卢来说，变身狼人似乎是个不错的选择。

　　Stuart Gordon, considered a master of the horror genre thanks to classics like Re-Animator and Dagon, decides to do a different move in this strange trip to human morals.
　　
　　"King of the Ants" is about a regular guy, Sean Crawley(newcomer Chris McKenna), a man without any aspiration who just live in his apartment doing the necessary job to live to the next day. In one of his jobs he meets Duke(Gearge Wendt), who introduces Sean to his boss, Ray Matthews(played by Daniel Baldwin). Ray hires Sean as a spy, and orders him to follow Eric Gatlin(Roy Livingstone), an accountant who has been investigating Ray's company. Problems start when Ray, while drunk, orders Sean to kill Eric. And he does it. Things go wrong when Ray decides to make Sean disappear destroying his mind with violent punishment and humiliation.
　　
　　From the point where Sean kills Eric, we go in the same boat with him, as he goes through a downward spiral of human degradation, traveling from guilt, to confusion and finally to his rebirth, in a state where humanity, morals and values are not important anymore. Chris McKenna acting is very important because he manages to be likable even when he is part of gruesome acts, both as victim and/or criminal. He has that look of innocence that hides a dark side and he manages to carry the film.
　　
　　The support cast also includes Kari Wuhrer, as Eric's widow who also becomes a central part of Sean's trip to hell. She gives a fine performance, although it's obvious that Sean is the main character. He is the most developed of all and McKenna's performance is up to the challenge.
　　
　　The film has very disturbing images of violence, and while it may not be as graphic as "Kill Bill" for example, the strength of the violence is in the lack of humanity that the character manifest. He is more than an ant in this world. He is the king.
　　
　　Stuart Gordon has managed to create a film that, while maybe it's not one of his best efforts; it's very well done, has a VERY interesting story to tell, and manages to capture the attention every second of it.

　　在一个城市中，战争突然来了，大家都各处逃命，最后有一群人逃到了一条船上，船长要叫他们每人给多少金子才行，为了逃命大家都拿出了自己的钱，但在海上因太阳每大，大家没饭吃又没水喝，船长又敲炸他们，但后来还是没了水，有些人最后实在没办法了，就喝了海水，有位母亲还把自己的血给小孩喝，喝海水的人死了；再后来船被撞翻了，他们大部分人又被海水漂到了一个小岛上，但岛上没有吃的，又没有水，他们开始抓岛上一切可以吃的东西，有蛇，有晰蚁，蚂蚁，虫虫等都生吃，最后还是没办法，有个女的疯了，再后来有个小孩死了，其他人称他父亲不注意最后也把他吃了，有个人因没有水喝一点力气都没有了，另外两个人爬过去咬他的手挽喝他的血，电影结尾时好像就只有被吃那个小的父亲活了下来

　　午夜时分，一辆出租车驶进一条胡同里。两女一男三名乘客谋财害命勒死女司机之后却发现女司机的尸体不翼而飞，这时车外出现可怕的鬼影……
　　北漂作家徐子（陈小春 饰）怀才不遇，在北京和女友林贞（邓紫衣 饰）一起生活。为了贴补家用和寻找小说素材，在女友的鼓励下，徐子开始做起了“的哥”。开车的辛苦在徐子眼里倒也无所谓，然而一件接一件的怪事却让徐子摸不着头脑。为了搞清楚发生在那辆诡异的出租车为何凭空消失，里面若隐若现的影子是人是鬼，徐子在女友的陪伴下开始了午夜的追踪。在此期间，与徐子要好的同事积劳成疾，最终而心肌梗塞而离开人世。几经波折之后，徐子终于追踪到了那个盗用自己出租车的“鬼影”。然尔，让他始料不及的是他还发现另一件事情……

　　A psychological thriller, based on true events that occurred, following two female students to New York. As they arrive at their rental home, 625 River Rd, a chain of mysterious events take place that are still unsolved to this day.
