　　洛杉磯是個繁華的城市，人們追求速食愛情，黛兒經歷多段失敗的感情後來到這，因為她暫時不想需要負責任的長久關係。

　　Waldo and Irene have been living with Margit for the four years that they have been engaged. Margit has planned the wedding and the honeymoon - in fact, Margit plans everything down to what they will have for breakfast every day. The only problem is that Waldo is a milquetoast and Irene does not want to be married to a milquetoast. So she says she is in love with Charlie, a bohemian artist/producer who lives in a trailer behind Spike's Place. When Margit confronts Charlie about giving up Irene, Charlie sees that she is the one for him. To make everyone happy, Charlie will have to help Waldo get a backbone. 　　《滑稽秀》的主持人和创作者查克·巴里斯在《滑稽秀》的生活中度过了一周，他经历了一系列令人发指的竞争对手、紧张的处境以及其他一些滑稽的角色，这些角色都参与了他的生活和电视节目的制作。

　　Taking on from where we left off, Dedh Ishqiya discovers yet another escapade of Khalujan (Naseeruddin Shah) and Babban (Arshad Warsi), a poetic journey underlined with revenge, drama and deception. The Begum (Madhuri Dixit-Nene) of Mahmudabad is hosting a festival of poetry and music in her mansion. The country’s best poets are in town. Khalujan posing as the Nawaab of Chandpur, is participating as a poet in the festival. He is not there merely to show off his poetic wares but to impress the widowed Begum who, as the grapevine suggests, is scouting for a husband -preferably a poet.Babban (Arshad Warsi) arrives in Mahmudabad to take Khalujan back to their old life but his plans change the moment he sets his eyes on Begum’s maid and confidant, Munira alias Muniya (Huma Qureshi), a brash and sexy young woman.Muniya too has plans of her own. She leaves the palace every now and then in a disguise to meet gangsters in dark alleys. The palace is rife with intrigue. The shayari is dropped for the guns, daring chases and hidden intentions. In the end, love triumphs even if the players of the story do not.

　　Ewan McGregor impresses in Niclas Larsson's star-studded psychological indie drama based on Jerker Virdborg's novella.
　　Three siblings converge in a furniture store in the middle of nowhere. Here, their mother, portrayed by Ellen Burstyn, has barricaded herself on a couch. David (McGregor) does his best to diplomatically try to resolve the situation, but the other siblings (Rhys Ifans, Laura Flynn Boyle) seem to take the situation with frustrating nonchalance. And while the mother's stationary position on the couch brings forth Norenesque family conflicts to the surface, the furniture store appears increasingly labyrinthine, and David is chased through a never-ending Kubrickian nightmare with a desperate look in his eyes. Swedish director Niclas Larsson (Vatten, GFF 2013) returns to Gothenburg after a period in international advertising with a charged psychological drama that not only impresses with its star-studded cast.

Mo Amer, the co-creator and star of Netflix‘s acclaimed series Mo, has inked a deal to bring his new stand-up special, Wild World, to the streamer on October 28.

　　八十年代初期的邵氏电影，在赌片上下的工夫显然是比较大。比如这部投资不大、效益却不小的《打雀英雄传》，就是其中的一个代表作。刚刚在电视银屏上塑造完赌王形象的谢四哥，再度重操旧业，扮演起了足智多谋的麻雀英雄，角色尚算是有情有义。故事围绕着年青电脑专家钱小豪展开，四哥为了帮他，避免其麻雀馆落入麻雀千王败类岳华手上，不惜重新出山与其鏖战，双方斗智，最终胜出一筹。

　　在本片中，罗依德扮演一名百货公司的店员。该公司为了商业宣传，请了一位特技演员前来表演从楼下爬到大楼屋顶的绝技，不料那位特技演员途中与交通警员发生了纠纷而无法赶到。百货公司为了向围观的群众有所交代，只好由罗依德权充演员，在众目睽睽之下表演特技。
