Netflix的拉丁裔多镜头喜剧《阿什丽·加西亚的扩阔宇宙 The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia》由Mario Lopez及Seth Kurland所创作，剧中讲述15岁半的Ashley Garcia（Paulina Chavez饰）是个机器人工程师兼火箭科学家，她现在得到机会在大空总署中工作，于是Ashley搬家来到与喜爱玩乐的叔叔Victor（Jencarlos Canela饰）同住；Victor是个前职业美式足球员，现在则是高中教练，过去从来没有应付过甚么大责任。

This series is above the expectations they had about it. It is very fast (beyond the tempo of each episode) conflicts are able to develop and resolve in each episode. Which for one as a spectator is very good since the rhythm is never lost. On the other hand, humor management is constant and gives it its point of grace so that conflicts, which are very deep, can occur with a lightness that catches. The chemistry that Paula Usero and Carol Rovira keep in the series is the same as they have in "Love Is Forever" so in just 10 minutes they catch you in a way that when you already see them together you already know that everything will work out , they are the basis of this series and the writers notice that they know it since the series is by and for them.

Zac is a teenage boy who decides to camp on Mako Island, unaware that three mermaids, Sirena, Nixie and Lyla, who are guardians of the island, are watching him. That night, when the full moon rises, the boy comes into contact with the magic water of the Moon Pool. The following morning, Zac wakes up discovering he has become a merman with a fish-like tail and the ability to control and manipulate water. His new-found merman abilities will cause problems for the mermaids. The three mermaids, curious about living on land, are transformed into humans while in the moon pool during a full moon, now having the ability to live like humans.
