　　改编自史提芬京 (Stephen King) 畅销小说人物的 The Dead Zone 是一套集动作、浪漫、超自然及冒险于一身的心理学恐怖片集。
　　Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall 饰演) 于小镇中过着平凡的生活，本身是自然科学教师的他喜欢向学生们展示出大自然的奥秘，在他身边的除了他深爱的未婚妻 Sarah (Nicole de Boer 饰演) 之外，还有以他引以为荣的母亲。Johnny 本拥有着几乎完美的生活，直至某天他发生车祸，使他一直昏迷不醒为止。
　　六年后，Johnny 终于恢复知觉及清醒，但他所认知的世界已变得面目全非。除了他的母亲已过身外，他的未婚妻 Sarah 亦下嫁了另一人且生了小孩。但这些事以他来说还不是太重要，因为他竟发现自已拥有一种惊人的 超自然力量，只要他接触到其它人或对象时便会发生。在离开医院之前，他p凭着超自然的幻觉得知其护士之女儿正身处险境，从而能够及时把她的女儿救出。
　　现在，Johnny 除了尝试适应昏迷六年后的生活外，还需要把不知道是福是祸的超自然力量弄走，继续以普通人的姿态生活。帮助 Johnny 恢服体能的物理治疗师 Bruce (John L. Adams 饰演) 由医院相识后因了解得太多而渐渐变成他的好友；而他母亲的牧师 Gene Purdy (David Ogden Stiers 饰演) 则为了他建立了一笔基金，待他有需要时便可使用；另外，Sarah 亦尝试一方面与 Johnny 保持关系，另一方面不影响与她丈夫 (Chris Bruno 饰演) 与及儿子的关系。
　　本剧集由 Star Trek 系列编剧 Michael Piller 及其子 Shawn Piller 制作，于2002年6月16日在 USA Network 首播，并创下六千四百万的收视纪录，同时亦打破基本有线电视节目首播的收视纪录。

He shares his apartment with his retired cop father, Martin, and his father's physical care assistant, Daphne Moon. Add in brother Niles, Eddie the dog, some bizarre situations and plenty of humour and you've got all the ingredients for an excellent show and worthy successor to Cheers.

　　Mike meijubar.net Biggs(Billy Gardell饰)是一个体型稍显肥胖却心地善良的芝加哥警员，于一次偶然的机会在肥胖人士匿名交友会结识了同样体型丰满的小学老师Molly Flynn(Melissa McCarthy饰)。二人从相识、相恋一路走来，和家人、朋友之间发生了无数令人捧腹的囧事。然而每一次啼笑皆非的状况背后，却总是氤氲着暖暖的温情。正如Mike的搭档Carl McMillan(Reno Wilson饰)所说，他们之所以拥有稍显庞大的身躯，是为了能够装得下他们宽广的心。
　　在第一季末，Mike终于克服了自己的承诺恐惧症，在与Molly交往七个月后，将那枚在他们相识后两周就买下的订婚戒指交给了她。二人的婚后生活又会碰撞出怎样的火花，尽请期待9月27日回归的Mike and Molly第二季。

　　NBC的DC喜剧《无能为力 Powerless》由Ben Queen开发，这部剧被形容为类似《办公室 The Office (US)》，但会加入DC的角色。原本该剧背景为一个在全美工作环境最恶劣的保险公司RetCon，因为他们身处的的是DC漫画宇宙，所以他们负责的是英雄及反派决战过后的烂摊子。
　　不过近日该剧宣布修改一点设定，把主角的公司改为Bruce Wayne的Wayne Enterprises子公司 - Wayne Security，该公司开发产品以保护平凡大众，以免成为英雄及反派对决时的「附带损害」。
　　在《油脂 Grease Live》演出的Vanessa Hudgens饰演Emily Locke，她刚于Wayne Security的研究开发部成为新任主管。充满信心﹑点子的她，发现她的期望远超过老板及同事，理解到不必有超能力才能当英雄的她，决定领导团体发挥出最大潜力。
　　Danny Pudi扮演Teddy，是Emily值得信赖的知心伙伴，他喜欢弄点恶作剧，目的是为了让这个超平凡的办公室，多一点不平凡。Christina Kirk扮演Jackie，沉迷超级英雄，而且还在自己办公位置贴满肌肉发达型的英雄照，由于新来的上司超多无理要求，让她陷入新的工作生活形态。
　　Ron Funches饰演在I.T.部门﹑天真无邪的Ron，他不像其他同事，仍然充满对超级英雄有孩子般的热情；Alan Tudyk扮演上司Del，没什么特长，自称为到处游学镀金的壕废柴。性格扭曲，超迷恋灾难的独裁上司。

　　该剧是英剧《摩斯探长》的续篇，于2006-2015年在ITV播出，共九季33集，每集约90分钟，其中从2013年的第七季开始每集在ITV1首播时被拆分为上下两部分连续两周播出，然而在重播时以及在美国PBS电视台播出时依旧作为整集播出。该剧将背景设置在学术气息浓郁的牛津，剧中很多含有隐喻的诙谐对白在外国文学爱好者看来会别有趣味，同时延续摩斯系列侧重通过案件展示各色人生和命运悲剧的特色，凶手被揭露后通常会有一幕对手戏将矛盾推至高潮，尘埃落定后缓和而带有希望的片尾曲又形成鲜明映衬，让人感叹命运无常及人的渺小，同时又看到光明的希望。该剧多位编剧也曾参与ITV版大侦探波洛和马普尔小姐系列剧的改编。
